Cultural Heritage Masterplan

The City of Los Angeles, a metropolis characterized by its cultural, historic, and architectural diversity, prepared a Cultural Heritage Masterplan as a framework for programs and policies for preservation for the 21st Century. Leading a team of nationally recognized preservationists, land use developers, and preservation attorneys, HRG developed the Cultural Heritage Masterplan using an extensive outreach and "best practices" research methodology. The Masterplan was adopted by Council and serves as a guide to coordinate the activities of the Cultural Affairs Department and other city agencies engaged in historic preservation.
